Walking to the Forest....

Kikyo walked the path to the forest and was looking around, *This brings back Memories....* she thougth to herself.

Suddenly, a snake demon jumped out the bushes & lunged at her.

Kikyo jumped back, *What?* she thougth to herself, "Who are you?" she asked.

"Sand Coffin" said a dark, cold voice as the snake demon was wrapped in a cocoon of sand. A teenage boy walked out of the bushes. He had hair the same color as blood, pupilless, green eyes, pale skin, the kanji symbol for love tattooed in the left side of his forehead & it was in blood red. The young man also had dark circles under his eyes & they were very visible, indicating he was an insomniac. He had a black shirt, black pants, black shoes & had a fishnet shirt underneath his black shirt. The most unusual thing about him was he had a sand colored gourd strapped to his back. He had an emotionless look on his face. He had his arms pointing up in the direction of the snake demon. "Sand Burial" said the boy in that dark, cold voice, which was like that of a killer, & clenched his left hand into a fist, causing the cocoon of sand to crush & implode on the snake demon, sending blood raining down.

Kikyo watched as the snake demon was destroyed and it started raining blood.

The boy then turned to Kikyo & stared at her for a long a while, not making a single sound.

Kikyo looked at the boy,"What did you do?" she asked him, "And who are you?"

"I crushed him with my sand & my name is Subaku no Gaara (Gaara of the Desert)" he said coldly.

"Well...," she said as she took out her bow and an arrow, "I dont know if you are a friend or an enemy," she said as she got ready to point it at him.

"You can't hurt me Priestess so don't even bother trying" he said with a glare.

"And how do you know that I can't hurt you?" she asked.

He gave her a creepy, wide toothy smile that made Gaara appear insane. "Attack me & see for yourself" he said.

Kikyo put her bow and arrow down.

"Scared to find out what will happen Priestess?" he asked.

"No..." she said.

"Then why don't you attack me?' he questioned.

"Because you saved me...." she said.

"True" he said.

Kikyo nodded, "Why did you save me?" she asked.

"I didn't do it to save you. I did it to kill the snake demon" he said.

"Hmmm..." Kikyo thougth as she kept walking on the trail.

Gaara followed after her.

Kikyo stopped walking,"Yes?" she asked.

"You seem to draw demons to you. I shall accompany you so I can kill these demons" he said.

"They are drawn to me??" she asked confused.

i am afar and i see to people infront of me

"Apparently so" he said.

Kikyo keeps walking, "But why?" she asked.

"Don't know. Do you have any jewel shards? If so, than that is the reason why" he said.

"No I dont..." Kikyo said.

i see them coming closer

"That was my only assumption. I don't have any idea why these demons are drawn to you" he said.

i put my weapon on my neck and waited
